One third of Australia’s Greenhouse gas emissions come from electricity generated from fossil fuels. This means that the traditional
electricity we use at home and work is having a profound negative impact on the environment, caused by the burning of fossil fuels
such as coal and gas. The client Jack Green is a licensed electricity retailer in Australia dedicated to reducing carbon emissions
through renewable energy being wind, hydro and solar. The campaign topic is Energy Conservation focusing on electricity usage
in residential homes in Sydney. The strategy approach looks to the future long term challenge for society-embracing and relying on
renewable energy technologies, technologies that emit very few if any- carbon emissions.
This was a hypothetical brief to create an awareness campaign on a chosen environmental issue — Energy Conservation, which
includes the brand strategy, identity, photography, signage, advertising, direct mail and interactive website.
